一、论坛简介
I. Introduction
为促进海内外优秀青年学者的学术交流和深度合作，华东师范大学将举办第九届(2023年度)青年科学家(学者)国际论坛并依托体育博彩平台 设立化学分论坛。论坛将通过专题报告与学术研讨，增进海内外优秀青年学者对华东师范大学的了解。本次论坛拟于2023年11月底-12月初线下举行，具体时间另行通知。
To promote academic exchanges and in-depth cooperation between outstanding young scientists at home and abroad, East China Normal University (ECNU) has taken the initiative to host the ninth (2023) international forum for young scientists (scholars). During this period, School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering (SCME) will host sub-forum for chemistry and interdisciplinary science. Through invited speeches on specific topics and academic discussion, the forum aims at enhancing the participants' understanding of ECNU. The forum will be hosted by ECNU in late November or early December 2023. The scheduled time will be announced ASAP.
二、报名条件
II. Application requirements
年龄在40周岁以下，具有海内外知名高校、研究机构化学以及相关交叉学科博士学位，有连续3年及以上的科研工作经历（成果特别突出的可突破工作年限要求），在所从事的学科前沿领域取得突出的学术成果。
Applicants should be aged below 40, with a chemical or interdisciplinary PhD degree from prestigious Chinese or foreign institutions of higher learning or research institutes, and an overseas research experience of 3 years in succession (those with exceptional research achievements are not restricted by the number of years working overseas), and have made outstanding academic achievements in the frontier area.

四、邀请参会
IV Invitation
根据申请情况邀请部分青年科学家参加本次线下论坛并为受邀参会的青年学者按照标准提供往返旅费（经济舱或二等座）和食宿安排。
SCME will invite some of the young scientists to attend the forum, and afford round-trip travel fee (economy or second class) and free accommodation in accordance with standards.
